Kochi: High Court has raised harsh criticism against police on Nedumkandam custodial death issue. The Court, while considering the bail plea of SI K A Sabu, has sought an emergency report from the Magistrate.
The court enquired whether Rajumar had complained about the police torture while he was presented before the Magistrate. If he had reported any such complaints, the Magistrate must inform the details and the actions taken further on those issues, the court said. The emergency report must be submitted tomorrow.
The case will be again considered tomorrow.
