Kochi: ANI reports that security personnel at the Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) today nabbed a passenger for carrying a suspected crystal like narcotic material.
The passenger, Mohd Mubarak Thangal hailing from Malappuram was caught with 2 kg of the narcotic substance in his bag. The substance was hidden in a concealed chamber of his bag.
The accused was deplaned and then handed over to the Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.
Smuggling activities through airports in Kerala are common and recently many passengers were caught smuggling gold in to the country.
