Kochi: A CUSAT student was attacked by SFI Unit President and Secretary. The student was struck by a car and then attacked with iron rod.
Following the incident, the students blocked the campus’s administrative office to protest. They showed pictures of SFI Unit President and Secretary demanding them to be expelled for the violence caused against the victim.
Aasil Aboobacker, a fourth year student is under medical treatment at Kalamassery Medical College. The SFI leaders brutally attacked him by hitting hard on his head with iron rods.
The students said that the attack was carried out by SFI leaders in response to a protest against them over the hostel mess and also he has 12 stitches on his head.
