BJP State President K. Surendran says that forces that unleashed communal violence at Marad behind the anti-CAA violence in India

Kozhikode: BJP State President, K. Surendran, said that the mysterious forces behind the Marad communal riot is also behind the violent anti-CAA protests across the country.

K. Surendran was speaking during his visit to Marad in Kozhikode, where eight Hindu fishermen were hacked to death by Muslim mob in 2003. He said that Kerala police takes action only by looking at the religion of a person.

The BJP leader said that the changing governments in Kerala is catering to the terrorists behind the Marad massacre. Even the judicial report about the massacre is being hidden from the public.

Surendran also warned that the Kerala government is encouraging a dangerous communal politics in the state.

He also accused the state government for taking credit for the Central government welfare schemes by changing the name and presenting it as state government’s schemes. He criticized the Pinarayi Vijayan government for taking credit of the LIFE mission, which is in reality funded by the Central government in collaboration with Local Government plan funds. This money is used to finish the construction of houses under the scheme.

Surendran was given a welcome at Marad after becoming the President of the state unit of BJP. Before attending the meeting he paid tributes to the martyrs of Marad.
