Thiruvananthapuram: According to the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to observe Janata Curfew on Sunday, about 3700 train services have been cancelled. It includes 2400 passenger trains and 1300 express trains.
None of the trains will ply from any railway station across the country from midnight to 10 pm on Sunday. At the same time, those trains which have already started the journey in the long distance route will not be called off.
Shops, restaurants, hotels and bakeries will remain closed on Sunday in Kerala.
Petrol pumps will also be shut from 7 am to 9 pm in the state.
