Thiruvananthapuram: The KSEB has announced that cash counter of the section offices will not be operational till May 3 due to extension of lockdown.
According to the government decision, it was allowed to pay the electricity bills without penalty until April 19, which can be now paid till May 3 without penalty or interest.
Those who would like to pay the bills during this course of time, can avail KSEB’s various online facilities. The KSEB will bear the service charge imposed by some banks for three months. To inquire about online systems, people can call on 1912- Call Center number.
There will be no disconnection during the lockdown period. It has also been decided to exclude the hotspots and take the meter reading of low tension customers from 20.04.2020.
Repairs will begin on April 20, ahead of the rainy season. Applications for the new power connection can be made online.
