Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daily press briefing will not be held and is likely to meet media only if there is any major announcements or development.
Earlier, when there was a decrease in the cases of coronavirus in Kerala, CM had dropped daily meeting. The Opposition had then alleged that CM was trying to escape from Sprinklr controversy. However, when the cases surged, CM resumed press briefing.
For the past two days, there were no press briefings.
The state government believes that the number of cases will surge till July as many more expats are about to return to Kerala.
