Kozhikkod: Nipah virus has come to control and the spreading of virus has reached to an end, says Health Minister K K Shylaja here last day. A permanent isolation ward will be set in Kozhikkod medical college chest hospital , minister informed in the All party meet at Kozhikkod.
The source of nipah virus is still unknown. No new cases of nipah has been reported . The number of patients who are under observation has come down from 2649 to 1430. And it will be 892 within a couple of days . Schools will be opened from monday itself, the minister added.
