Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran has condemned the decision of the Kerala Police to file a case against the parents of students for not maintaining social distance outside the KEAM examination centre.
He said in a statement that a case should be registered against the state government for conducting the entrance test in Kerala despite the Central Government postponing the NEET examination.
A letter was sent by Union Minister V Muraleedharan to the CM asking to postpone the exam, however, the Chief Minister was reluctant and continued with conducting the exam. Hence Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should be the first accused, said K Surendran.
” The parents were the ones who requested the government to postpone the exam,” said Surendran.
