Thiruvananthapuram: The state reported new 506 cases today as per lab reports received till afternoon, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Meanwhile 794 results have tested negative for coronavirus.
Of the total cases, 83 are from Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram 70, Pathanamthitta 59, Alappuzha 55, Kozhikode 42, Kannur 39, Ernakulam 34, Malappuram 32, Kottayam 29, Kasaragod 28, Kollam 22, Idukki 6, Palakkad 4 and Wayanad 3.
375 people infected through contact. 31 arrived from abroad and 40 from other states.
Two deaths were reported in the state today.
