Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 2,406 cases of coronavirus, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. At the same time, 2,067 recovered from the disease.
The state witnessed 10 more deaths due to infection today taking the death toll to 267.
Thiruvananthapuram recorded 352 cases followed by Kozhikode 238, Kasaragod 231, Malappuram 230, Palakkad 195, Kottayam 189, Kollam 176, Alappuzha 172, Pathanamthitta 167, Thrissur 162, Ernakulam 140, Kannur 102, Idukki 27, Wayanad 25.
Of the total cases 59 arrived from abroad while 121 from other states. 2175 infected through local transmission.
