Thiruvananthapuram: BJP spokesperson Sandeep Varier came down heavily upon the state government. He alleged that the name of Minister Kadakampally Surendran was included in the hard disk of Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the gold smuggling.
Varier also attacked Minister K T Jaleel stating that he is the ATM of the CPM. The BJP leader asked why did Jaleel go to a jewellery store in the United States that had links with gold smuggling.
Sandeep Varier said that the government is trying to suppress the ongoing protests against them. “The mothers of Kerala knows to chant Godly names as well as cross the barricades,” he said.
“No leader went to jail in the Palarivattom bridge scam. The UDF is colluding to sabotage the gold smuggling case,” said Sandeep Varier.
He said that Chennithala and Pinarayi were friends and that both the fronts were saying that the local body elections should be postponed because they were afraid that public sentiment would side with the BJP.
