Pathanamthitta: The social media platforms, this time had a great role to play in the local body elections campaigns in Kerala. Following the restrictions put forward by the Election Commission due to the Covid-19, candidates belonging to all the political parties had made maximum use of the Social Media’s to gain support.
One such person who became a star in Social Media during the campaign was UDF candidate Adv.Vibitha Babu. All the social media support and attention that she received during campaign went in vain when the results came in earlier today.
It was LDF’s C.K Lathakumari who won in the mallappally Division where Vibitha Babu had contested. Even though Vibitha had a fair position during the counting, the ultimate win was for LDF. UDF camp was in high expectations since Vibitha had received great social media support and media attention during the election campaigns.
