Kochi: State behind the controversial audio clip, things were said as the police said. It was leaked to the Special Branch with the help of the women police officers who accompanied, says Swapna Suresh in a statement given to ED. Based on the statement, the ED launched a further investigation.
The controversial audio clip contained Swapna’s statement which accused that the Investigation agencies were pressurizing her to say Chief Minister’s name during the interrogation and in turn offered to make her an approver.
The reasons behind the audio recording leak were revealed when the ED questioned Swapna with the permission of the court during the last three days. Swapna had already revealed the reasons behind the audio leak even during the interrogation by Crime Branch they kept it a secret. The Central Agencies has also found out that the ones who helped in leaking the audios were the lady officers who were in charge of Swapna’s security
On the basis of the statements given by Swapna, ED will be carrying out more investigation regarding the matter.
