Thiruvananthapuram: Renowned poet and lyricist Anil Panachooran, 51, passed away while undergoing treatment for Covid-19 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
His relative said that Anil was taken to the hospital after suffering a dizziness while he was on his way to the Chettikulangara temple. He was then admitted to the Mavelikkara VSM hospital where his Covid test was done and Valayath Hospital in Karunagappally. Later, he was shifted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram due to critical condition.
According to the hospital authorities, Anil was brought to the hospital in a critical condition and after an hour he was admitted into the hospital, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. The body will be handed over to the relatives after postmortem.
