Sabarimala: Police have filed case on about hundred devotees alleging that the devotees gathered and chanted sarana mantras in Sabarimala. Earlier it was informed that no case will be filed on devotees who chant sarana mantras, single or in groups. Devotees chanted prayers at 10: 30 last night. The allegation says the pilgrims gathered, chanted mantras and thus committed breach of section 144.
Prohibitory order has been extended for four more days. But it was informed that no restrictions will be there for devotees’ peaceful visit or for chanting sarana mantras. Protests are fuming up against police again.
