Thiruvananthapuram: 815 services disrupted last day due to lack of employees, as temporary conductors were dismissed from KSRTC. Majority of services affected in Ernakulam region. Around 360 services were cancelled in Ernakulam itself. In Trivandrum, it goes to the sum of 360 services and in Malabar region, it is 155.

The High Court has raised severe criticism and demanded that KSRTC must ensure that there is not even a single temporary conductor in the service. High Court has denied to review the pleas submitted by the temporary employees. KSRTC has informed the court that they have given termination notice to employees. But the court is on the stand that KSRTC MD should file an affidavit regarding this.

High Court will consider the case today. KSRTC has taken steps to manage the issue and issued an order as permanent conductors will be paid according to their over time of duty.
