Sabarimala: Amid huge protest from devotees, Manithi members Bindu and Kanaka Durga are taken back. These women are on their way back to Pampa. Attempts are underway to make them reach Pampa by Forest Department’s vehicle. Bindu has told earlier this morning that she will visit temple at any cost. She also alleged that the devotees in Sabarimala are not real devotees and criticized Janam TV in harsh words.
Devaswom Board Minister Kadakampally Surendran discussed about the situation to Chief Minister and informed that if the doors of the shrine is closed due to the attempt to breach the rituals, it will create low and order issues and suggested to take steps to avoid such situations. The Government is forced to ask the activists to step down or else they will be arrested.
