Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State President, K Surendran, said that CPI(M) State Secretary, MV Govindan, was ridiculing himself by justifying the Chief Minister in the AI camera scam. He added that there is no use Govindan getting angry at the journalists without answering their questions about the scam.
The BJP leader demanded that the government along with Keltron must answer in the corruption issue. No CPI(M) leader is speaking about the relation between Prakash Babu and the Chief Minister. All the companies that won the contract to install the AI cameras are all bogus companies working hand in hand.
The fact that companies from other states were not allowed to participate in the tender process and only companies that had ties with CPI(M) participated in the bid was to facilitate corruption.
Surendran added that the donation given by Presadio Technologies to CPI(M) is nothing but a kickback for the corruption.
He said that MV Govindan’s statement that corruption was there only on one side of the contract and absent at the other side is self-destructing. Nothing other than corruption is happening in Kerala. The only discussion that is happening is in the amount of corruption money.
