Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State General Secretary, George Kurian, said that there is a conspiracy behind the fire that broke out at the North Sandwich Block, which includes the office of the Industries Minister.
George Kurian said that it is now common for fires to break out whenever there is an allegation of corruption against the government. The fire has taken place at the Secretariat, which is a high security area.
The BJP leader said that the fire near the office of Industries Department raises suspicion and the incident cannot be seen as a coincidence.
He also raised suspicion in the transfer of the Principal Secretary of the Industries Department. The AI camera scam must be investigated by a central agency, he demanded.
Last year also, a fire had broken out at the Secretariat in a similar manner.
