Kollam: Governor Arif Mohammed Khan visits KIMS hospital where doctor Vandana Das succumbed to death after being stabbed at Kottarakara Government Hospital.
The Governor was emotional while addressing the situation saying that no parents should have to endure such a state, offering condolences to the victim’s parents.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Health Minister Veena George, Speaker A N Shamseer and Minister V N Vasavan also visited the hospital, offering their condolences to Vandana’s family.
Hospital authorities said that the post mortem procedures of the victim will begin soon, after which the body will be kept in front of the mortuary for public to pay respects. Later the body will be shifted to Azeezia Medical College in Kollam, where the victim had completed her studies.
Vandana’s relatives said that her funeral will be tomorrow around 10:30am.
