Thiruvananthapuram: A seventeen-year-old girl, Asmiya mol, was found hanging in the bathroom of a Madrasa at Balaramapuram in Thiruvananthapuram. The relatives of the deceased have alleged foul play in her death and have approached the Balaramapuram police and filed a complaint.
She was found dead at the Al Aman religious school. The relatives said that Asmiya mol, a native of Beemapally, had faced abuse from the authorities of the Madrasa.
Asmiya mol had earlier informed about the abuse by the Madrasa authorities. Yesterday, at 2 pm, Asmiya mol called up her mother and asked her to come to Balaramapuram immediately. However, when her mother rushed to the place two hours later, the authorities refused the mother to see the girl.
Following this, the authorities of the Madrasa informed that Asmiya mol was found hanging in the bathroom. The police have registered a case and begun investigation into her death.
