Kannur: The Communist Party of India State Secretary Kanam Rajendran demanded that Pulwama attacks must be investigated. He made these highly controversial statement when the Nation as a whole is standing united behind the government and security forces.
The Communist leader also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will play any drama to have his way implying that the Pulwama attack was an inside job. His insensitive remarks was made while he was talking to reporters on the sidelines of the CPI(M)’s Kerala Samrakshna Yatra led by CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.
Incidentally, Congress leaders also have come under severe criticism for being insensitive to the sacrifices of the security forces.
The CPI is a junior party in the LDF alliance that presently rules Kerala.
Political analysts suspect that the statement by the State Secretary will lead to a huge controversy that could have implications for the party at the national level.
