Thiruvananthapuram: Akshay (26) was arrested for sexually assaulting a 10th grade student in Vilappilsala, Thiruvananthapuram. The man, who is a native of Kundamankadavu, is married and a father of two.
The man sexually assaulted the girl several times in the rented house where he was staying and threatened her not to divulge any information about it. The girl finally disclosed this information to a close relative after being mentally exhausted.
Following that, the police began an investigation and arrested the accused based on the family’s complaint. A team of Station House Officer Suresh Kumar, SI Ashish, GSI Baiju, and CPOs Praju, Rajesh, and Ajith detained the culprit.
