Kasaragod: The former SFI leader, K Vidya, got bail in the forgery case filed against her. The Hosdurg Judicial First Class Magistrate court granted her bail in the case against her for submitting fake experience certificate at Karinthalam Government College to gain employment. The court granted conditional bail with the stipulation that she must appear before the investigation officers on Wednesday and Saturday.
The court rejected the prosecution’s argument that there is a possibility that Vidya will destroy evidence if released on bail. She was arrested by the police when she came in for questioning but was quickly released after she got bail.
Earlier, Vidya had got bail from the Mannarkkad court in a case filed by Agili police.
Vidya said that she and her family have been suffering from huge mental trauma for the past one month. She said that let her be the last victim of incidents such as these. The former SFI leader added that she has full belief in the justice system and that she has decided to move ahead legally.
