Thiruvananthapuram: The Communist Party of India (CPI) state leadership has initiated an inquiry into the Maranalloor acid attack incident, which has sparked intense criticism against the party in the district. The tragedy unfolded with the acid attack on local committee secretary Sudhir Khan, allegedly orchestrated by Sajikumar, who later took his own life. In light of the gravity of the situation, the CPI district secretariat has appointed a commission to investigate the matter thoroughly.

Tragically, Sajikumar’s involvement in the acid attack came to light when he left behind a suicide note containing allegations against District Executive Member Bhasurangan.
