Thiruvananthapuram: The shocking incident of kidnapping and murder of five-year-old at Aluva has send shockwaves across the state. The BJP State President, K Surendran, said that this is the latest incident of the gruesome crimes in Kerala.

K Surendran said that the law and order of the state has failed and people are living in a state of fear. He said that is has become difficult to live in Kerala.

He said that only the Chief Minister and CPI(M) leaders are living safely while all others have no security.

Surendran revealed that there is no information about the migrant workers in Kerala. There are many Bangladeshis living in Kerala, who had infiltrated into India. He accused the government of protecting them for vote bank politics. He said that if the government does not abandon its appeasement towards them, the state will soon turn into another West Bengal.

The BJP leader also said that the state has become unsafe for women and that they cannot venture out in the towns of Kerala. Crimes are committed here which cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.

Surendran remarked that many people belonging to SC/ST communities have become victims of lynching. The people are living in the fear that anyone might be attacked at any time.

He also said that religious fanatics are threatening one community publicly and saying that they would be hanged and burned in front of their places of worship.

The five-year-old girl was found murdered a day after she was kidnapped. The police have arrested migrant worker Asfaq Alam for kidnapping her. The gruesome murder has raised widespread condemnation from across the state.
