THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Adv. B Gopalakrishnan, the Kerala State BJP Vice-president, expressed strong disapproval over the absence of any ministers at the funeral procession of the child who tragically lost her life in Aluva. He pointed out that this negligence on the part of the ministers had also contributed to the delay in the police investigation. Had the police been actively involved immediately after the incident on Friday, the child’s life might have been saved.

Furthermore, Gopalakrishnan highlighted the government’s reluctance to announce compensation for the bereaved family in the wake of the heinous murder. He called on the government to do justice for the innocent child.

In addition, Gopalakrishnan urged the opposition to recognize the significance of implementing a citizenship register. He stated that the registration process would help identify individuals, including Bangladeshi nationals who may be involved in illegal activities such as drug trafficking and criminal behavior, and are coming to Kerala as guest workers.

BJP State President K Surendran also paid his last respects to the deceased child and strongly criticized the government over their handling of the Aluva murder issue.

The leader expressed his dismay over the fact that, despite an exhaustive 18-hour search, the police couldn’t locate the child alive. He stressed the necessity of imposing severe police action to safeguard the well-being of women in the state.

K Surendran passionately called for decisive police action similar to that of Uttar Pradesh.
