THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In response to the case registered against the Nair Service Society (NSS) Vice President, M Sangeeth Kumar, and thousands of other identifiable NSS members for their participation in the procession (Namapajapa Yatra) in Thiruvananthapuram, Sangeeth Kumar stated that the NSS will address the case through legal means.
Sangeeth Kumar also said that the case against him through the news media and expressed his discontent with the lack of direct communication from the authorities. He emphasized that the procession was conducted without any provocation and was solely organized to express their opposition against the hateful anti-Hindu speech made by Kerala Legislative Assembly member AN Shamseer.
Undeterred by the legal action, the NSS firmly maintains its stance and will confront the case through lawful means. Kumar stressed that the protest was brought to the attention of the police, and relevant authorities were informed, including the City Police Commissioner, Fort AC, Cantonment AC, and DGP.
The NSS leadership will decide on further actions in response to the situation.
Sangeeth Kumar emphasized that such controversial statements should never be made by persons in responsible positions.
