PALAKKAD: An unusual explosion occurred within a well in a rare incident. This occurrence transpired in Thrikkangode, located in the Vaniyamkulam area of Palakkad district. The explosion took place specifically in a well situated on the property owned by an individual named Laxmibai. This property is in close proximity to the Thrikkangode temple.
As a result of the explosion, the roof of a nearby house was damaged, and the windows of approximately six houses sustained damage. Swiftly responding to the situation, the Ottapalam police, along with the Shoranur fire brigade team and the bomb squad, swiftly arrived at the scene to carry out a thorough investigation.
The exact cause behind this explosion remains undetermined at this point in time.
