Manilal took one month to complete the drawing spending seven to eight hours daily for this work. The sixty-year-old artist’s style, who had travelled widely in search of great works of art, was greatly transformed by his deep faith in Lord Ganapthy.

The artist observed that Lord Ganapathy has a variety of inspiring forms fit for an artist’s inspiration. No other deities have this much myriad forms that evoke deep emotions.

Maniilal had been working as biology teacher in Bhutan for eleven years. He resigned from his job and began spending more time to his artistic expressions. He is now getting ready to create a grandiose work of art with 20,000 forms of Lord Ganapathy in one single frame.

The official announcement of his work on 10,000 forms of the lord will take place at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club in the coming day. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Universal Record Forum (URF). Surya Krishnamurthy will be the chief guest at the function.

According to a report, Maniilal who is a graduate in Biology, did his B.Ed from Bengaluru and landed in a teaching job in Bhutan in 1988. He did his Bachelor in Fine Arts and Masters from Mysore University, where he was able to interact with renowned artists.
