Thiruvananthapuram: Today is the deadline day for the withdrawal of filed nominations in the state. Election Commission has approved 243 nominations after scrutiny. Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency has a number of 22 nominations and Pathanamthitta , Kottayam, and Alathur has only seven nominations each.
Election Commission has received a total of 303 nominations from which 242 have been accepted. 61 nominations were rejected.
Voting will be held on April 23 and counting and result declaration, on May 23.
