Ernakulam: In a startling turn of events, a drug bust in Perumbavoor has led to the arrest of three college students who were found in possession of MDMA and ganja. The incident has raised concerns about the prevalence of drug use among young people in the region.
The apprehended individuals, identified as Nevin Mathew, Richu Regi, and Elbin Mathew, are third-year students pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA). Their arrest came after the police received confidential information regarding the alleged drug use.
Acting swiftly on this tip-off, law enforcement officials conducted a thorough investigation, ultimately leading them to the students’ rented residence. Inside their accommodation, the police discovered a stash of illegal narcotics, including MDMA and ganja.
