The cricket extravaganza is set to kick off with India’s first warm-up match scheduled in Guwahati on September 30th, where they will face off against England. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the warm-up matches will begin at 2 p.m., igniting excitement among fans who are eager to witness their favourite teams in action before the main tournament.
Notably, the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram will be a key venue for several matches during the warm-up phase. A series of captivating contests are lined up, including South Africa versus Afghanistan on September 29th, Australia taking on the Netherlands on September 30th, and a clash between New Zealand and South Africa on October 2nd.
