Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State Committee Member, Sandeep Varier, in a Facebook post said the CPI(M) and the Congress party have reached a deal to settle the monthly payment issue involving the Chief Minister’s daughter, Veena Vijayan, and her firm Exalogic.
Sandeep Varier said that Mathew Kuzhalnadan should have sent his complaint to the Finance Minister of Karnataka as Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic is registered in Karnataka.
Mathew Kuzhalnadan, the Congress MLA from Muvatupuzha, had conducted a press meet, earlier, saying that Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic had not paid GST for amount she received from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL). Mathew Kuzhalnadan, in the presser itself, sent an online complaint to the Kerala Finance Minister in front of the journalists to prove his point.
However, Sandeep Varier questioned Mathew Kuzhalnadan sending the mail to Kerala FM while it should have been sent to the Karnataka FM as Veena Vijayan’s firm is registered there and the company should file GST in that state.
Sandeep Varier then asks Mathew Kuzhalnadan if the Congress party in Karnataka will take action against Veena Vijayan’s company. He also asks if the Congress government will file a case against the daughter of a Chief Minister belonging to the I.N.D.I.A alliance.
The BJP leader criticized the Congress leader, Mathew Kuzhalnadan, for wasting the time of the people and media by conducting the press conference. He said that Kuzhalnadan knows that the central leadership of Congress will sabotage the case and that he was just playing in a safe zone.
