Kochi:The High Court granted bail for P K Prakash Babu, who was remanded for Sabarimala issue. He was held in connection with blocking a woman from entering the holy shrine of Sabarimala.
The BJP Yuvamorcha President was remanded by Ranni Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. The youth leader was in the forefront of the protests against entry of women at Sabarimala. The Kerala government, in a bid to quell the peaceful protests of the Hindu community took stringent actions against the leaders spearheading the agitations.
Ranni First Class Magistrate Court had given special permission for Prakash Babu for filing nomination.
