Kannur: A dispute that began among students over an Instagram account escalated into a clash. The incident occurred on a Friday evening at Kadannapalli Higher Secondary School. A clash occurred between students of Plus Two and Plus One.
Plus Two students have made a new Instagram account for the Onam celebration. In response, Plus One students initiated another account in protest of their exclusion. As the Plus One students’ account gained more followers, the conflict between the two groups began. Plus Two students demanded that the Plus One students delete the account they had created. When the Plus One students refused to do this, the conflict started. Both factions were engaged in fighting each other. Pariyaram police arrived at the scene after getting the information and solved the problem. Many students have been injured in the clash.
