Container truck catches fire at Thamarassery Pass; no casualties reported

Kozhikode: A container truck catches fire at the Thamarassery pass at approximately 5:30 a.m. today. No casualties were reported in the incident. The incident occurred at Chipilithode in Thamarassery. Following the outbreak of the fire, the fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames.

Once the charred truck is removed from the pass, traffic will be fully restored in the area. During the Onam festival, Wayanad witnessed significant traffic congestion owing to the influx of tourists.
