Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State President K. Surendran has severely criticized the Congress for not being ready to condemn Udayanidhi Stalin’s anti-Hindu statement. He said that Congress’s stance is treasonous and they have adopted an approach that disappoints the people of the country. He added that KC Venugopal who says that everyone has freedom of opinion should read and learn what Gandhiji said about Sanatana Dharma.
Surendran said that V.D. Satheesan and Sudhakaran should clarify whether the Congress in Kerala has the same opinion as that of KC Venugopal. Surendran also asked who the Congress was afraid of, for taking a stand in favor of Udayanidhi. He asked whether Congress was afraid of League and Jamaat-e-Islami. He asks whether the Congress have a feeling that whatever is done to the majority community is okay. Surendran said that the stand of Congress is criminal and treasonous
“CPI(M) is a party that has come out to destroy Hindu Dharma. The Sabarimala issue is an example of that. Pinarayi Vijayan has also taken the same stand earlier. Pinarayi had openly expressed this during the program with Stalin,” said K Surendran.
