Aluva: A horrific incident of kidnap and rape has emerged from Aluva again. An eight-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped. The girl was abducted today at 2 am while the family was asleep. People living in the area heard sounds and saved the girl from the abductor. The police are on the hunt for the accused, who is believed to be a native of Thiruvananthapuram.
The victim is the daughter of migrant workers from Bihar. The identity of the suspect came to light after his visuals were caught on CCTV. It is believed that he is a resident of Thiruvananthapuram and is an accused in many cases including stealing mobile phones.
The victim is now under treatment at the Kalamassery Medical College.
It was only a few months back that the 5-year-old daughter of migrant workers was kidnapped, raped and brutally murdered by Asfaq Alam in Aluva. The shock of this gruesome crime is still fresh in the minds of the people.
