Thiruvananthapuram: The Forensics has ruled out murder in the mysterious death of young movie director Nayana Suryan on February 24, 2019. She was found dead at her rented house in Althara, Thiruvananthapuram. Medical experts say that her death could be the result of a heart attack. However, the Medical Board stated that it could not come to a conclusion on the real reason for behind her death. Nayana was twenty-eight years old when she died.

According to the Medical Board, the reason could be over use of medicines or Mycocardial Infarction, which is heart attack.

The Board said that the injuries found on her neck and stomach is not the reason for her death. Earlier, Nayana was admitted to the hospital five times for losing consciousness after consuming tablets. The doctors are of the opinion that her insulin levels went down and she became unconscious leading to her death.

The last search on Nayana’s mobile phone was about life after death. As the final report has come, the Crime Branch is planning to submit its report in court and close the case.

Nayana Suryan worked with renowned filmmaker Lenin Rajendran for a decade as Assistant Director. She also directed the featurette film ‘Pakshikalude Maanam’ in the anthology film ‘Crossroad’ in 2017.
