Thiruvananthapuram: The nation and the political landscape of Kerala are in mourning as Union Minister V. Muraleedharan expressed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of the esteemed senior BJP leader and former general secretary of the state organisation, PP Mukundan.
Mukundan’s passing marks the end of an era in Kerala’s political history, as he played an instrumental role in the development and growth of the Sangh Parivar movements within the state. Known for his unwavering dedication to public service and his gentle nature, Mukundan was a respected figure among his peers and adversaries alike.
Union Minister V. Muraleedharan spoke fondly of the departed leader, highlighting Mukundan’s remarkable ability to differentiate between political opponents and enemies. He emphasised that PP Mukundan’s approach to politics served as a guiding light for public servants across the spectrum. Muraleedharan extended his prayers for the eternal peace of Mukundan’s soul and offered his condolences to the grieving family.
PP Mukundan’s passing occurred while he was undergoing treatment at Kochi’s Amrita Hospital, where he had been battling a respiratory illness.
