Thiruvananthapuram: The accused in the Solar case that rattled the previous UDF government, Saritha S Nair, took to Facebook to announce her upcoming autobiographical book, ‘Prathi Nayika’ (meaning Anti-Heroine). She posted the cover photo of the book on her social media page and said she was conducting the cover release of her autobiography.
Saritha S Nair, in her post, said that her book delves into the truth behind the things said that were purported in her name. She also adds that her autobiographical work will also highlight matters that were left not said.
In her post, she seeks the cooperation of everyone for her new book and credits the cover design to Rajesh Challode.
Saritha’s announcement comes at a time when the Solar case has become a discussion in the public eye again. The political atmosphere is rife with accusations and counters accusations and is heating up the political landscape in Kerala.
Solar case was one of the major reasons for the defeat of the Congress-led UDF government in 2016, which paved way for Pinarayi Vijayan to take power in the state.
