THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 73rd birthday celebration, multiple welfare programs were carried out by several organizations across the country. In Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, the Aurobindo Cultural Society decided to mark the birthday celebration by organizing an exhibition program named “Drishya Narendram – Modi@73”.

The Aurobindo Cultural Society, an NGO, is hosting an exhibition program for the public to showcase the developments in the nation during the last 9 years of Narendra Modi’s government. The exhibition is taking place from September 17 to October 2 at Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. The organization has also arranged an exhibition of Modi’s life history by displaying wall photos at the exhibition hall.

On September 17th, the exhibition was inaugurated by former Union Minister O. Rajagopal. Following the inauguration, Rajagopal spoke about the various schemes launched by the Modi government over the last 9 years. However, most of them have not been implemented in Kerala due to the negligence of the CPI(M) government.

Later, while talking with Janam English, Adv. R.S. Rajeev, Thiruvananthapuram district BJP Vice President, who is in charge of “Drishya Narendram – Modi@73”, stated that the Aurobindo Cultural Society is organising the exhibition from September 17 to October 2. The Aurobindo Cultural Society is also scheduled to conduct seminars from September 18 to October 1, focusing on the achievements of the nine years of administration for the public.

He added that as part of the program, Yuva Morcha is conducting blood donation drives at various hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram until October 2. On September 18, a blood donation drive was held at Sree Chitra Tirunal Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, and on September 19, it is scheduled to be conducted at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.

On the 18th, a seminar will be organised on the topic ‘Arogya Bhratham: Innovations in the health field during the last 9 years’. The seminar will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences, Prof.(Dr.) Mohanan Kunnummal. The topic for the 19th evening is ‘Women empowerment during the last 9 years’.

Dr. Keshavadas, Dy. Director of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Pradeep Jyoti, Director of Vasudeva Vilasam, and other dignitaries will also be present at the seminar.

Adv. Rajeev also mentioned that each day several competitive programs are arranged for students from schools and colleges to participate in. These programs include patriotic drawing competitions, quizzes, patriotic songs, and other cultural art forms.

Various prestigious government organizations such as ISRO’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Doordarshan, All India Radio (AIR), Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Khadi India: Kerala Sarvodaya Sangh, etc., are also participating in the program for public exhibition to raise awareness of the developments in their respective fields during the last 9 years.
