Thrissur: A 17-year-old plus one student who had been missing for two days in Kattoor, Thrissur, was found dead in a well. The deceased identified as Archa (17), a native of Kattoor, Valakkazha, and the daughter of Arjunan and Sreekala.
Archa, a plus-one student at Chentrappinni Higher Secondary School, had been reported missing since Friday, prompting her family to lodge a complaint with the Kattoor Police. Later, the family went to Alappuzha in search of the girl but could not find her.
Upon their return home today, found the girl dead inside a nearby well. The cause of death is unclear. A postmortem of the girl’s body will be conducted after the inquest by the police. Then her body will be handed over to relatives for immediate cremation.
