Thrissur: BJP State General Secretary, P Sudhir, said that the party will again organize mass protests against the two fronts led by CPI(M) and the Congress for destroying the cooperative sector in Kerala. Sudhir made the statement while inaugurating the Yuva Morcha State Committee meeting in Thrissur.

BJP has been in the forefront against the cooperative society scams that have raised a public outcry. Cooperative societies are moving towards a crisis in the state with many societies on the brink of collapsing. Fraudulent activities were rampant in these societies run by party leaders belonging to both the fronts in Kerala. Many common people who deposited money in these societies have lost their life savings because of the scams and irregularities.

Recently, BJP leader and actor, Suresh Gopi, led a protest march in Thrissur against these irregularities and scams. He together with scores of party activists walked 18 kms to highlight one of the biggest scams in Kerala.

The Yuva Morcha State Committee meeting was presided by Yuva Morcha State President, Praphul Krishna. Yuva Morcha State General Secretaries, Dinil Dinesh, and M Ganesh also spoke at the meeting. The meeting discussed about the membership campaigns to join Yuva Morcha and also about agitation programs to be organized by the youth organization.
