Kottayam: In a concerning incident related to the Changanassery NSS College Union elections, a clash unfolded as Students’ Federation of India (SFI) activists allegedly launched an attack on Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists.
The incident occurred at the Perunna Bus Stand when a group of SFI activists resist ABVP activists who were preparing to board a bus. Reports indicate that the situation escalated quickly, resulting in a physical altercation between the two groups.
Following the bus stand clash, the SFI activists reportedly targeted the BJP constituency committee office, where they threw firecrackers. In the ensuing chaos, BJP Constituency President Satish sustained serious injuries in the attack. He was promptly rushed to a nearby private hospital for medical attention.
