Alappuzha: An Assistant Motor Vehicle Officer in Alappuzha, Ruthan Mohan, has been suspended due to allegations of failing to fulfill his road safety duties and improperly reducing fines during vehicle inspections. The suspension was imposed after it was discovered that he had made critical faults in his duty and had also violated a court order.
Meanwhile, superior officers have clarified that the officer’s suspension was prompted by concerns over his work performance. It has been reported that the officer had previously received warnings regarding his work conduct. Consequently, his suspension has been enforced due to his consistent failure to carry out his duties effectively.
