Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) State Committee Member, M Swaraj, in a Facebook justified the brutal killings and kidnappings of Israelis by terror organization Hamas. The communist leader said that whatever Palestinians do, they are innocent.
M Swaraj tried to justify the terror act by saying that Palestinians had to face injustice and that they do not have a country of their own. He describes their plight and the killings of Palestinians by Israelis to justify their barbaric act. He also stated that Palestinians are fighting for their last piece of land.
In his social media post, Swaraj stresses that whatever Palestinians did, they are still innocent. The Hamas’ surprise attack against innocent civilians in Israel had led to worldwide condemnation. Only a few countries completely supported the inhumane attack.
The CPI(M) leader’s unequivocal support to Hamas terrorists is to garner the support of radical Islamists in Kerala. The communist front has been cosying up to the radical elements for quiet sometime and Swaraj’s Facebook post is a reflection of this dangerous trend.
In his FB post, Swaraj, denounces the notion of justice and tries to prove the point that because Palestinians were suppressed by Israel, they have the right to kill innocent children, women, and elderly. Reports are saying that even babies were slaughtered in cold blood by Hamas.
After the attack, radical Islamists and communist social media handles began rolling out their propaganda materials. They laid all the blame at Israel’s doorsteps. They did not have the humanity to even the condemn the Hamas’ cowardly attacks and to acknowledge that those 1,200 lives lost in Israel were also human beings.
Earlier, when former Health Minister and communist leader, KK Shailaja, referred to Hamas as terrorists, she had to face a huge backlash. CPI(M) MLA, KT Jaleel, posted a veiled snub against Shailaja and said that if Hamas are terrorists then Israel is a bigger terrorist. He too refrained from condemning the terror attack.
