Kottayam: Muslim League youth wing activists today hurled stones at the house of P. C. George, the leader of Kerala Janapaksham Secular. George had joined the NDA alliance recently has been a strong critic of the state government’s bid to destroy the traditions of Sabarimala.

Muslim Youth League members staged a protest march towards P. C. George’s house accusing him of abusing Muslims in a phone conversation. A voice message is being circulated in the social media which the Youth League members are saying is the recorded phone call of the leader.

Fortunately, George was not present at his home when the attack took place. Meanwhile his son Shaun George has denied that the voice message is the recorded telephonic call of his father.

P. C. George has been an open critic of the ruling communist party and the opposition party. His direct and bold statements against political opponents have always kept him in the limelight of Kerala politics.

George was part of the Kerala Congress led by K. M. Mani before parting ways with him to float his own party, Kerala Janapaksham Secular. Earlier, he had made many statements in support to the cause of Hindus in the state. In the past he had severely criticized M. F. Hussain for portraying the Indian Gods and Goddesses in a poor light.
